Bajaj unleashed two new pure desi bikes in Auto expo.Discover 150 and XCD Sprint.

Discover 150 styling is just OK.Tried to make it aggressive. But to me, it looks like overdone. But , what about pulsar 150 now? Are they going to stop the production? Or following herohonda by confusing customers with more than one model with same engine capacity. Engine is 150 cc 14.1PS @ 8500r.p.m(ie. 12.3 NM @ 6500r.p.m) which makes it clear that Discover 150 is a commuter friendly 150cc bike

@ Mayank : Discover 150 has a new engine. Not the one in Pulsar 150. And about quiting production of 150 , i dont think they will do that.

firstly dis is da 2nd uglyest bike i have seen after xcd bajaj simply is playing wid da looks of pulsar i think now the pulsar looks are boring and despirately needs a face lift and refinement.i cant imagine how the designers have worked with dis bike da earlier discover looks were better dan dis 1

Hie guys, it appears that Bajaj is getting more practical minded day by day. The huge gargantuan tank which almost nobody in their right mind would fill to capacity when in day-to-day use; has been ditched on the forthcoming Discover 150 in favour of the more practical dimentions of the existing Discover 135 tank.

The unsightly downtubes which used to run all the way below the engine in the Pulsar 150 have also been done away with, in favour of a compact design which uses the engine as a stressed member. It certainly looks more asthetic and athletic in the bargain.

The only weak point could be the tail lamp which sports a single row of L.E.D.’s and dosen’t really convey any message. But overall, certainly with the new 4 valve head et all, it is a positive move in the right direction. Who knows, I may even get myself one !

    mohan Says:

discover 150 is a blender among all the bikes released by bajaj till now. Bajaj is deteriorating the image of pulsar by making blender copies of it. All the copied bikes sucks.

  22. 22
    Nikhil Says:

    It’s beautiful!
This bike will compete with Pulsar 150 in the looks, biking & overall rating. Most of the people will go for the New Discover 150,because people are bored of the monopoly of pulsar150.

    Vishal Says:

Wat’s ugly in that guys??? the byke has got good looks, rather better than pulsar 150 or the original discover 135, And undobtedly better than any hero honda bykes with nauseating looks. Well bujaj people have tried to stick to the basic design of pulsar that has superceded any other byke in 150 range just adding few mdifications. about engine and performance it’s too early to comment until this byke reaches market.. And also Dpak, had LUNA been that beautiful in its original price, I would have bought it earlier. But anywys I consider it to be one of the options for my new byke

    Imthy Says:

Don’t stop the 150 pulsar production at all.Discover 135 is enough.Don’t make customer to frustrate on to discover.Black new 150 pulsar is superb than the discover 150.So the pulsar 150 is ok. Also 200 is double ok.

  31. 31
    Imthy Says:

XCD disappointed completely then discover 150. next? Y the engineers of bajaj co is thinking backward?

  32. 32
    Imthy Says:

Will bajaj covert the xcd and platina also with 150 or 180 engines.Pls make the bike as international standard just like ducati or kawasaki. Don’t recopy of the same.

  33. 33
    Imthy Says:

I don’t like those XCD PLATINA BOXER CT 100 AND 150 DISCOVER.Pls improve pulsar 200 As the model of italian ducati sports.Don’t make bikes to make us frustrate. We only hope with bajaj no others
