Like the Yamaha YZF R15 has racing technology from R1 like six-speed transmission , the Yamaha FZ 150 is being toned down to 150 cc from the existing global version of 1,000 cc.It is 150cc (non FI) , 5 Speed Gear box, Air Cooled and have Monoshock suspension Yamaha FZ 150 will be launched in October 2008.

Guyz !!! this a hoax image. Nothing’s real in it. Front head light & suspensions have been taken from Honda Hornet. Even Front & Real Wheel have been taken from Honda Hornet. It’s a Photoshop image dudes.. How could you guyz believe that Bajaj can create such a monster bike with such suspensions & front wheel which are damn expensive and support only 600 CC bikes? These suspensions & front wheel (check it’s carrying double disk breaks) are meant for super sport bikes & not for bike that are less than of 500 CC… If you don’t believe me, check Honda Hornet’s pic. You will believe it.
At present tyhe best bike is YAMAHA R15 which is gonna be launched in June 1st week. Thought it’s 150 CC bike but speed is never measured on the basis of CC, it depends on BHP & it has 20 to 22 BHP with 6 speed gears. Bajaj Pulsar DTS-Fi touches the top speed of 135 KMPH on road & gives you the mileage of 30 KMPL but YAMAHA R15 touches the TOP SPEED of 145 KMPH & gives you the mileage of 40 KMPL. SO WHAT SAY GUYZ… YAMAHA IS YAMAHA. No comparison with others…
One more thing… I really did not like the Seat & Wheels of Yamaha R15 because they dont’ match that bike… but I’ ve got a wonderful solution for it… Buy YAMAHA R15, get YAMAHA R1’s engine cover (Base cover), get Kawasaki Ninja’s seat & Front / Back wheels (wide wheels) & replace them with YAMAHA R15… Then you will see that you are riding a actual super sport bike… You might feel it a bad idea (expensive) but juts imagine then picture which I’ ve in my mind, You’ll come to know how wonderful idea it can be… good lukc guys…

hi Guys,
I have CBZ*, I have fell many times while riding my bike in
last 4 years. but every time my legs not even my bike didn’t
even got a single scratch. It was possible just because of leg
gaurd.
“OF COURSE SOMETIMES SITUATION GETS OUT OF CONTROL”
What about Yam-R15 safety? it is even not having a leg guard!!!
just think somebody spend 90,000 buks to buy this mean machine,
a very small accident will surely drag his legs to road and
also its front fearing and indicators will be broken even if it
fells while standing or driving. He “somebody” will have to
spend huge money on his legs and even more on the bike to
regain its beauty. i’m sure its front fairing will cost above
10,000 because karizma’s cost 8500 above.
I am not very familiar with sports bike so i cannot say about
their safety. So somebody kindly suggest me and clearyfy about
my above point about safefy of R15.
IS IT SAFE ENOUGH TO GO FOR THIS MACHINE….

I’ve RD-350. R-15 is priced around 97K. It’s a 150CC bike, guys the power is way 222less for such a price.

dear readers as yamaha is the king off all bikes still they have to work more on their design r-15 look gr8 but it look very similsr to a china made copy of r-1 i.e R2,
regarding the power the tyres are too enough to be good, and the design is like very small atleast it should of a height of karizma, fz-150 it is really a monster, and yamaha is the king of all time,

hey guys…yest i had a word with the yamaha Showroom in Mumbai…and the owner told me that the launch of the FZ 150 is on the 17th of this month…no one knows the price and the clrs it is comming out with? will just have to wait and watch…according to him the bike will be not more than 85K on a higher side….but he says he saw the bike in Pune and it is the best he has seen by an indian producer…he says the tyres are as fat as the bajaj avenger….i have paid an advance and booked mine as i m a Yamaha person….will just have to wait.. trust me its killing me….

dude i own r15 …..evn if its only 150cc….its gt 17bhp and its 130 kg only…..
it can easily take-on p220…….more oevr itsnt hrd fr r15 to keep it around 125-130…..its soo steady..u wnt get it frm any other bik rit nw….

i have been trackin all the happening within yamaha india…one of my friend’s dad is like in a good position in yamaha india (cant reveal his name..and cant tell u my name….waise me aint avinash) ….he said tht officially on media FZ is being launched on 19th september…and would be delivered after one month of its media launch….fews things i know abt this bike which are confirmed….

My experiance with the FZ is, every one look to u whether you are on road in market people comes to you ask abt cost then admires you really cooool maaaaan,
apart from that bike is very good drive feel is ooooosym man full of proud on bike.
milage is 38+ and comited to get up to 45 after service its coool……..

hi, the fz is not worth for its money as the mileage is too low for a 150cc bike and the cost is said to be 65k, but on road it is around 75to77k the other 150cc bikes give a mileage of 45 to 50 and thats it but definetly the style is good bye.
