After Glamour , its time for Honda shine to come with well respected PGM-Fi from Honda stable. Honda is about to launch a Fuel injected version of its 125cc Shine soon. The fuel-injection or PGM-Fi system in Honda Lingo will be identical to the one used on the Hero Honda Glamour FI. With two models now employing the same system , the economy of scales are set to get better for the component , which will benefit the end consumer.
There is also a talk about herohonda achiever getting fuel injection soon. Honda world wide recently announced that it plans to install its compact PGM-FI for smaller capacity bikes into most of its offerings accross the world by 2010. Mean while honda will introduce a self start version of Shine this month.Sources in the company indicates alloy wheels might take their way onto shine as well.

If fuel quality is a cause of concern then how are Indian Petrol cars running?
They also use injectors!!!

honda will impse fuel injection in indian bikes only if the petrol here beco
mes pure………they will not compromise on quality like local indian bike
companies..the diadvntages are….lack of service for pgm fi,impure petrol,price of injector cause in crease of price of bike,it needs always 2 lte in reserve else the injector will get damaged.about 8000rs…like car fi…bike fi is not that easy to repair or use.so honda the king of engineering ill do things if its damn sure.go for honda ,……any doubts about bikes or cars contact me
